Most of these settings will only apply to new products added. Updated products will retain their existing global settings. The exceptions to this are Download Remote Images, CSV Delimiter, Product Status, and Shops; you can use these settings for updated products.
CSV Delimiter: The delimiter separating fields in your feed. See the acceptable format here: http://helpdesk.hostjars.com/entries/26254297-Acceptable-CSV-import-format. Select from comma (,), tab (\t), semi-colon (;), pipe (|), or carat (^).
Availability Settings (as seen in Catalog > Products > Edit > Quantities) -
Displayed text when in-stock: The text customers will see for the products in the front office when in stock.
Displayed text when back-ordereding is allowed: The text customers will see for the products in the front office when the products are back-ordered.
When out of stock: The text customers will see for the products in the front office when the products are out of stock.
Default Product Status: Set the products to enabled or disabled in product catalog.
Default Tax Rule Group: The tax rule applied to the product. As seen in Catalog > Products > Edit > Prices
Shops: For multi-store. Select the shops and/or shop groups catalog's you wish to add the products from your feed to. (applied to added/updated products).
Options (as seen in Catalog > Products > Edit > Information): Check all that apply: Available for Order, Show Price, Online Only (not sold in store).
Condition: Select whether the products imported in your feed are new, used, or refurbished goods.
